Jack Garrahan President & CEO

Jack Garrahan launched ClearEdge in 2006 after more than two decades as an enterprise IT sales and marketing executive. He previously ran EMC’s EMEA Organization spanning 28 countries, with 2,500 professionals and $2 billion in yearly revenue. He led EMC’s Global Marketing, including the product, pricing, branding, events, education and professional services teams. He served as GM of EMC’s DMX and Celerra business units and was the first recipient of EMC’s Lifetime Achievement Award.  He is a graduate of Boston College and Harvard Business School.

Tom DeMarco Executive Vice President, Managing Partner

Tom DeMarco leads the ClearEdge Applications, Backup & Security and Business Intelligence Practice teams. Tom brings expertise on deal-making and long-term cost control strategies from involvement in thousands of transactions on both the vendor and customer sides. He previously served as West Coast Sales Director for Oracle and PeopleSoft, VP of Sales for Tidal Software (process automation/batch scheduling), eTime Capital (supply chain), and Sagent (Data Warehousing), and as Regional VP at Platinum Technology (operational tools). Tom earned a B.A. in Business Administration from Michigan State University.

Jim Florentine Executive Vice President, Managing Partner

Jim brings 25 years of IT management and leadership experience to the System & Server Management and Mainframe Practice teams. Prior to ClearEdge, Jim built numerous IT hardware and software sales organizations. He served as Senior Vice President for CA Technologies, Area Vice President for Platinum Technologies and led the storage marketing division at EMC. He graduated Cum Laude from Tufts University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.

Robin Kostin Managing Partner

Robin joined ClearEdge after 25 years in IT sales, most recently as Regional Vice President for Oracle’s enterprise sales organization. A specialist in complex sales, licensing strategies and modeling, she leads the ClearEdge Middleware and Data Management Practice teams. She previously managed strategic accounts in the financial services vertical market for Unisys. Robin is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire’s Whittemore School of Business and Economics and the Boston University Graduate School of Management.

Dave Meyer Managing Partner

Dave leads the Networking and Server Hardware Practice teams. With more than 20 years in senior sales management roles, Dave was responsible for revenues of $200M and teams of more than 150 professionals at a range of IT companies, including Cisco Systems, Cabletron Systems and Pannaway Technologies. He has extensive knowledge of vendor sales practices and pricing strategies, and how to develop comprehensive buying campaigns.

Chris Powers Managing Partner

Chris leads the Cloud ERP, Professional Services and Outsourcing Practices at ClearEdge. In this capacity, he provides consulting and talent development services to ClearEdge clients in this complex and fast-growing category of IT spending. Chris brings over 20 years of leadership in sales and delivery of IT services to global clients. He previously served as VP/GM at Atos, Siemens IT Solutions and Services, and ENTEX Information Services, and received his MBA and undergraduate degrees at Babson College.

Steve Savard Managing Director & Vice President, Transaction Management Services

Steve brings over two decades of IT management experience to ClearEdge, having directed major accounts at EMC, where he was responsible for millions of dollars in annual revenue. During his tenure at EMC, he designed, implemented and continually refined strategic sales plans for the entire portfolio of EMC products. As leader of the Transaction Management Services practice at ClearEdge, Steve works closely with clients on specific and finite vendor engagements, for which clients lack either the time, staff or expertise.

Tres Larsen Managing Director & SAM Leader

Tres has led hundreds of Software Asset Management (SAM) reviews and audits for Microsoft and other enterprise software vendors and helped dozens of enterprises design and implement effective SAM programs and navigate software audits. Tres established and led KPMG’s Microsoft software compliance program in the U.S., where he designed and developed the audit methodology and audit data collection tools. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP). Tres has a Masters in Information Systems Management and Bachelors degree in Accounting from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University.

John Gill Vice President

John Gill is responsible for business and service development for ClearEdge programs. Before joining ClearEdge, John led the marketing teams at CenterStone Software and ChannelWave Software, prior to acquisitions. He previously directed marketing campaigns for technology companies at HighGround, Inc., served as Massachusetts District Director for a U.S. Congressman and was a Pulitzer Prize-winning newspaper reporter and editor in Massachusetts. He is a graduate of Boston College.

Alan Sarto Controller

Alan Sarto leads our Finance team, and joined ClearEdge as our Controller in 2019. Prior to joining, Alan spent 20+ years with New England Controls, Inc where he provided financial leadership as both Controller and most recently as Chief Financial Officer. During this time he led 5 major departments, provided direction during the acquisition of two companies, and helped company growth as headcount quadrupled during his tenure. Alan graduated with a Bachelor’s from Stonehill College and earned his MBA from Bentley College.
